EagleVail Hole #1

EagleVail Hole #1

Hole 1 is a great Par 5 and a chance for birdie to start your round. With a 65 ft. drop in elevation off the tee, it offers a good chance to get home in two for the longer hitters, but beware of the bunker of the left side of the fairway. There is plenty of room for a conservative lay up to a heavily bunkered green.

EagleVail Hole #2

EagleVail Hole #2

Hole 2 is a long Par 4 that doglegs to the right. A driver towards the bunker straight ahead will leave a good angle to the green from the left side of the fairway.

EagleVail Hole #3

EagleVail Hole #3

The green slopes from left to right and a shorter approach is better than a long one. This green is well guarded with bunkers so play it safe and hit it in the middle of the green.

EagleVail Hole #4

EagleVail Hole #4

This short par 3 is guarded by bunkers short and right so accuracy off the tee is a must.

Long is safe from the Eagle river but could present a challenging up and down as the green is severely sloped from back to front.

EagleVail Hole #5

EagleVail Hole #5

This par 4 can be intimidating off the tee, but just aim right of the big Douglas fir for a safe landing and away from the Eagle river. Don't let the rafters on the river distract you as a good approach shot into this large two-tiered green could set you up for a good score. Shots usually bounce down off the left hillside into the fairway and green.

EagleVail Hole #6

EagleVail Hole #6

This longer par 4 has a creek down the entire left side, with a pond left of the green. Fairway bunkers are in play off the tee and are strategically located near the right side of the fairway. There is plenty of room on the right side past the bunker as you approach the green to help make for an easier up and down. Play it safe on this hole to avoid higher scores.

EagleVail Hole #7

EagleVail Hole #7

This mid-length par 4 looks more intimidating than it really is. The fairway is wider than it looks, just watch out for Stone Creek down the entire right side of the fairway and past the green. One of our flattest greens on the course offers you a good chance to make your putt.

EagleVail Hole #8

EagleVail Hole #8

This short par 3 can be deceiving. Watch out for the false front as a short shot may roll back down the hill. Take enough club to get to this elevated green. The large bunkers on the left can be tough as they could present a blind sand shot. Choose your club wisely here for a great chance at a birdie.

EagleVail Hole #9

EagleVail Hole #9

This long par 4 plays significantly down hill so you do not need as much club off the tee as you might think. With a semi-blind tee shot, be aware of O.B. and homes to the right. A 200 yard club towards the barber pole near the big pines on the left will set up a clearer second shot. The approach shot plays at least 2 clubs shorter than the yardage by the drop in elevation and shorter into the green is better than long.

EagleVail Hole #10

EagleVail Hole #10

This is the signature hole at EagleVail. From the back Tee, a 155 to 160 club should be plenty. Check out the large US flag in the distance to help you gauge the wind. From the white, gold, or red tee, it plays more like a 100 - 125 yard swing. This big green may be easy to hit, but beware of the severe slope coming off the mountain side.

EagleVail Hole #11

EagleVail Hole #11

This challenging par 5 has O.B. on both sides, and water in front of the green and down throughout and across the fairway. A good drive will leave long hitters with an option to go for the green in two. The safe play is to hit down the left side of the fairway leaving you with a shorter approach into the green.

EagleVail Hole #12

EagleVail Hole #12

Hole #12 is a shorter par 4 with a challenging well guarded green. The stone creek comes into play immediately off the tee box down the entire right side past the green. Staying a bit to the left is ideal as it will also set you up for a better approach shot into the green.

EagleVail Hole #13

EagleVail Hole #13

This par 3 plays pretty true to the yardage with a very challenging green. Hit it high to help hold this green that slopes severely from front to back, and from left to right.

Plenty of room left of the green, but this can be a very difficult up and down for par.

EagleVail Hole #14

EagleVail Hole #14

This straight par 5 plays slightly uphill with generous fairways. The fairway bunker on the right can be reached with a monster drive, but keep it down the middle for a good chance to get on in regulation. A good score on this hole is important as the next few holes may be more demanding.

EagleVail Hole #15

EagleVail Hole #15

This short but challenging par 4 does not require a particularly long tee shot. Stone creek runs the length of the hole on the left side, with a beautiful waterfall in front of the green. Take enough club to carry the hazard and err to the right for a favorable kick off the hill side. Club selection into this green is crucial as it has a large back to front two-tiered slope.

EagleVail Hole #16

EagleVail Hole #16

This par 4 doglegs 90 degrees to the right. From the tee, hit a shorter club into the middle or left of the wide part of the fairway. Anything to the right will end up into the stone creek or trees. Your second shot will be a short, but up hill over the creek into a tough green. Anything short and to the left of this green may end up back in the creek.

EagleVail Hole #17

EagleVail Hole #17

A short downhill par 3 hole. Take at least one less club for elevation change. This small, narrow green slopes severely from front to back and anything left may end up in the creek. A well placed tee shot is necessarily to maintain a good score on this hole.

EagleVail Hole #18

EagleVail Hole #18

This great finishing par 5 has a wide landing area. Longer hitters may need to hit a fairway wood or less off the tee to avoid the trouble that sneaks in from the right and left. The second shot plays downhill to a narrow fairway and approach. When going for the green here, hit it straight as large trees to the right and bunkers to the left protect this green heavily.
